The new OROTON campaign takes the heritage brand boldly into the future, with its fresh approach to classic style giving new spirit to the Australian icon. 

The much-loved iconic ‘O’ has been revived through the modern Signature O print, created to celebrate 80 Years of Oroton in 2018. The distinctive logo design is showcased throughout the collection printed on silk scarves and embossed on totes and accessories as a tribute to the milestone celebration, confidently taking the brand into the modern world. 

A crisp white backdrop allows the Oroton AW18 collection to tell its own story, with the carefully considered and richly tonal combination of bold red, elegant tan and deep navy blue redefining effortless elegance. International modelling sensation Julia Van Os demonstrates how the collection’s bags, accessories and bespoke one-off garments can be worn with spectacular style and ease. Renowned photographer Benny Horne collaborated with the brand to introduce us to a renewed direction and a reinvention of classics. 

Warm autumnal tones set the scene for the Signature O print across the collection, an emblem of the brand’s 80 years of inimitable heritage. The celebrations continue with the limited-edition textural finishes to the Signet and Scenic styles, with an exclusive run of 80 units of each colour way produced. Texture has been explored across the collection with the introduction of wool shearling and leather being used in an unexpected way, woven and with a raw edge, sitting alongside scaled down branding. These elements compliment the structural direction of new shapes and silhouettes such as the adventure-friendly Roam and timeless Odyssey styles which are contrasted stylishly in the campaign against stripes and patchwork prints. 


The printed silk scarf returns as a continued motif from its playful turn in SS17’s campaign, this time given new life through movement – bringing an artful fluidity to the campaign. Once again the Oroton woman is invited to interpret the silk scarf in her own way, from reworking as a lightweight top or a show-stopping patchwork skirt. The skirt is a one-of-a-kind piece, created bespoke for the campaign as a modern interpretation that pays homage to the brand’s heritage and continued journey in timeless everyday luxury.
