Cimon Vozzo, from timestwo fashion blog gives us the tips on the autumn winter trends available at Burnside Village this season.

"Autumn winter fashion is now in full swing, we are seeing heavy long line coats are back, lush velvet fabrics and layering is key for styling.

There is nothing like purchasing a fresh new coat for winter! There are always many different colours and styles to pick from. My key tip for making the perfect purchase would be to steer away from black and look for some punchy colours. Colours to look out for this winter are tan, different shades of grey and pinks and even the fabulous Bordeaux colour. These colours are seasonal, but every winter we constantly see the same colours come out, they always go back with neutral colours we all have in our wardrobe, don’t be afraid of colour!

Alyse - Forever New camel coat and jumper, Veronika Maine culottes and Witchery hat. Cimon - Cue pink coat and dress and Mimco bag.

If you don’t already know velvet is making a comeback! I am loving all the styles and colours that are coming through in lush velvet fabrics. My top pick for a key piece of velvet in our wardrobe this season would be the mustard colour velvet t-shirt from Veronika Maine, the best thing about this is that it can be dressed up with wide length pants and stamen earrings or dressed right down with boyfriend jeans, sneakers and a denim jacket. It’s a great multi-wear piece that will take you through day to night.

Cimon - Veronika Maine t-shirt and pants and Mimco hat and necklace.

Layering is my ultimate styling tip, its gives depth and instant style to any look! It is not difficult at all. Layering can be as easy as wearing a long line bomber jacket, rolling up the sleeves to see detail on your top underneath.

Cimon - Cue long bomber, Witchery sequin top and pants and Mimco loafers.

Having different textured fabrics is always a great way to layer, having sequins for during the day is always a winner, it’s an unexpected luxury and looks great paired back with simple pair of pants and on loafers. If you are unsure of layering, then keep the fabric light as you don’t want to add bulk. Clothing isn’t the only thing you can layer, add a headscarf to your favourite hip bag for instant style.

Cimon - Forever New denim jacket and navy dress and Witchery sunglasses. Alyse - Witchery bomber, shirt, skirt and sunglasses.

Burnside Village is the place to be when it comes to the front line fashion, now it is time for you to go shopping."
